Todd Blodgett is a trust and estate planning attorney at Eisenhower Carlson in Tacoma, Washington, where he is a partner and member of the firm’s executive committee. He works with individuals, families and charities to develop and implement complex and tax-efficient strategies for wealth transfer, charitable giving and family assets. Todd also assists clients with probate and trust administration, including charitable trusts, disputes and controversies, real estate transfers and business matters. He received his undergraduate degree from Whitman College and his law degree from Harvard Law School.
Todd will discuss the basics of estate planning, particularly as it applies to pets and pet owners. He will cover the basic estate planning documents (Wills v. Living Trusts, powers of attorney, and similar documents), as well as discuss options for people to care for their pets after they have passed away.
